CREDAI-Pune Metro Hosts Installation Ceremony for New CREDAI Maharashtra Leadership (2025–2027)

In a milestone event for Maharashtra’s real estate sector, CREDAI-Pune Metro, the apex body representing private real estate developers in Pune, hosted the First General Body Meeting and Installation Ceremony of CREDAI Maharashtra’s 2025–2027 leadership team at the prestigious JW Marriott Hotel, Pune.

This high-profile event marked the official installation of a new leadership team dedicated to steering Maharashtra’s real estate ecosystem into a phase of innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth. The gathering attracted over 600 member developers representing more than 61 cities, underlining Pune’s growing role as a central pillar in the state's urban development framework.

Esteemed Leaders and Special Guests Grace the Occasion

The event was elevated by the presence of senior dignitaries including Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, along with Satish Magar, Sunil Furde, Rajendra Singh Jabinda, Shantilal Katariya, and Rajiv Parikh. These industry stalwarts and political leaders provided valuable guidance and extended their support to the newly appointed leadership team.

Also present were Manish Jain, newly elected President of CREDAI-Pune Metro, and Ranjit Naiknavare**, Vice President of CREDAI National, who shared their vision for the term ahead.

Meet the New CREDAI Maharashtra Leadership Team (2025–2027)

Mr. Prafulla Taware, a developer from Baramati and a civil engineer by profession, took charge as the President of CREDAI Maharashtra. He succeeds Mr. Pramod Khairnar Patil, the Immediate Past President. Taware is also a licensed pilot and currently serves as Secretary of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, India (AOPA).

Manish Jain, President of CREDAI-Pune Metro, shared an ambitious roadmap for the coming years with a strong commitment to:

- Affordable and accessible housing for all, positioning it as a basic right  

- Establishing a Center of Excellence to provide skill-based training to construction workers  

- Tackling environmental clearance issues in PCMC and the 5 km buffer zone  

- Influencing the Development Plan (DP) for PMRDA  

- Advocating for fair water allocation and streamlined approvals  

- Pushing legislative reforms to simplify construction processes  

- Promoting automation and construction technology to improve efficiency and affordability

His address reinforced Pune’s leadership in innovation-led real estate and the critical need for government collaboration in enabling housing for every citizen.

CREDAI National’s 5-Point Vision for Viksit Bharat

Ranjit Naiknavare, newly appointed Vice President of CREDAI National, echoed national sentiment and shared best wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He also outlined CREDAI National’s 5-point agenda to support the vision of Viksit Bharat, which includes:

1. Skilling India: Creating a future-ready workforce through industry-aligned training  

2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leveraging analytics to forecast and plan real estate growth  

3. Reforestation: Encouraging environmentally conscious practices within the sector
